The Critical Pulse is a non-profit online magazine, with two issues per year (September and January), launched in 2020 with the aim to create a critical fashion media platform for young scholars and established experts, with a focus on ethical values, including inclusivity and diversity, ethics and sustainability, social justice, intersectional feminism, and decoloniality. The editorial team is comprised of students and volunteers from Denmark, Canada, and beyond. The magazine includes well-researched and peer-reviewed articles on pressing topics in fashion, as well as reviews of books, films, TV shows, exhibitions, and current events.

The Critical Pulse works with UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, not only engaging with environmental problems, but also from a social justice perspective. For us, it is important to put topics such as inclusivity, diversity, intersectional feminism, and decoloniality on the agenda for more equality for all human beings. We want to see a transformation in the fashion system. Our magazine includes reviews of books, films, and current events. We do not engage with uninformed opinions, and only publish well-researched and well-analyzed information. The Critical Pulse is a nonprofit magazine with two issues per year.
